Welcome to Compass Property Inspections. We are a Veteran and locally-owned property inspection company servicing the Middle Georgia and Augusta areas. CPI has been in business for over 5 years, providing quality and professional home and commercial inspection services to Milledgeville, Macon, Augusta, Eatonton, and more! We have conducted thousands of property inspections, including commercial, residential, draw/construction, foreclosures, move-in/move-out inspections and 302K inspections.

Each inspector with CPI has attended extensive in-school training and is certified by Inter-NACHI Standards Commission for property inspectors. BUDDY MCKENZIE

Owner and Inspector

Retired from the U.S. Army, Buddy deployed once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan with many training missions. During his time in the military, he was in charge of many military and federal inspections for the Army.

After retiring from the military in 2015, he purchased a national property franchise and in 2020, he set out on his own to start his own company, Compass Property Inspections. He has been rigorously trained to perform top quality home and commercial building inspections and is excited at the opportunity to work with Realtors, brokers, homebuyers and seller, commercial and real estate investors, loan officers and the real estate community of Middle Georgia and Augusta.

HUNTER NEWELL

Inspector and Operations Manager

Hunter Newell has been a home-inspector his entire adult life, starting shortly after graduating high school. He was professionally trained in Omaha, Nebraska by National Property Inspections. Over the past 5 years he has conducted over 400 inspections and

specializes in commercial properties. When not performing commercial and residential building inspections, he is the operations manager of Compass Property Inspections. He resides in Dekalb County, Georgia.

Hunter has taught multiple Continuing Education (CE) classes for realtors. Some classes led by Hunter include "Anatomy of an Older Home," "Home Inspection 101," and "Commercial Properties." Hunter has also spoken at multiple

first-time home buyer seminars and is active in the Middle Georgia Association of Realtors.
